Behind the scenes in the Amber Valley Kitchen
Christmas Day lunch in the Amber Valley Restaurant once again was spectacular. A myriad starters were presented on platters and it was hard to choose something small to begin the lunch feast with. What goes on behind the kitchen doors is nothing but amazing.
AMBERS TEDDY BEAR KNITTING CLUB
Knitters receive praise
Without any fanfare this club meets regularly, and its members knit furiously, to produce a range of knitted goods for donation. The club is about 30 strong, and the members meet every second week. Some members are unable to get to the meeting venue, so they knit at home or in the Care Centre and send their items in to the club for distribution.
Successful market sets the tone for Christmas
